Your mate has a crash (not their fault)

If your mate's been hit and isn't at fault, they're entitled to a replacement vehicle at the expense of the other driver or their insurer.

You submit the referral

Drop their details in to our save a mate form on this page before their booking is completed. 

We'll handle the rest with the insurer.

You get rewarded

Once their rental is completed, we'll send you a $100 fuel voucher.

Save A Mate - Terms & Conditions 

  • Referrer must be located in New Zealand.

  • Referee must be involved in a not-at-fault motor vehicle accident (liability confirmed with the at-fault insurer)

  • The $100 fuel voucher is issued only after the referee’s replacement vehicle hire is completed.

  • Referrals must be submitted before the booking is completed.

  • Fuel vouchers are not redeemable for cash and expire 12 months from  the date of issue.

  • Promotion runs from 8 February 2026 to 31 March 2026.

  • Personal information is collected solely to administer this referral program.

  • Full Terms & Conditions apply to all Faultless Cars hires.
